Alton “Al” Joseph LeCompte, 90, a native and resident of Raceland, La., died Tuesday, Dec. 13, 2011.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years. Gloria LeCompte; son, Rodney LeCompte; daughters, Paulette (Beauregard) Ledet and Glenda (Ray) Chiasson; sisters, Delta Bourgeois, Anna Pitre and Joyce Christen; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ferdnand and Annette LeCompte.
Interment was at St. Mary Nativity Catholic Church Mausoleum. (Falgout)
