Alvin Peter Anderson Jr., 66, a native of New Orleans, La., died at Medical Center Bowling Green in Bowling Green, Ky., Thursday, January 1.
He is survived by one daughter and spouse, Joanette and Ellis Broaden of Alexander; two grandchildren; and numerous relatives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Owinda and Alvin Anderson Sr.; and one sister, Carolyn Coulon.
He was employed by General Motors Corvette Plant for more than 30 years.
Visitation will be 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Saturday, January 10, at St. Luke Catholic Church in Thibodaux, La., with mass to follow. Burial will be at Allen Chapel Church Cemetery.
Williams and Southall Funeral Home of Thibodaux is in charge of the arrangements.
