Amanda D. Danos, 68, a native of Cut Off, La., and resident of Larose, La., died at 2:17 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2011.


Mrs. Danos was a parishioner of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. She loved to grocery shop, play bingo, go to the casino and spend time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Harris Danos; mother, Edna Plaisance Danos; son, Derek (Monica) Danos; four grandchildren, Devin, Dustin, Lance and Derica Danos; one great-grandson, Dustin Danos Jr.; sisters, Brenda Callais and Peggy Fontenot; and numerous nieces and nephews.


She was preceded in death by her father, Eddie Doucet; stepfather, Paul Danos; and one son, Darrell Danos.

She is buried at Our Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery.
