December 23, 2011Amay Lorraine Galjour, 96, a native and resident of Cut Off, La., died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011.
She is survived by her daughter, Janette (Henry) Dantin; brothers, Syrus, Franklin, Restile and Harris Lorraine; sister, Valerie Jambon; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Whitney Galjour; and parents, Frank and Olympia Lorraine.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Friday, Dec. 23, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Cut Off with mass to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Falgout)
