Angela Cortez, 49, a native and resident of Kraemer, La. died Monday, December 10, 2007, at 1:30 p.m.
She is survived by her husband, Jason Cortez; two sons, Toby and Drake Cortez; her mother, Helen Martinez; two brothers, Marshall and Sammy Martinez; and three sisters, Phyllis Usey, Paula Gravois, and Christine Louviere.
She was preceded in death by her father, Stanley Martinez; and her brother, Blaise Martinez.
Angela was a devout Catholic and a parishioner of St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church. She was a homemaker who enjoyed aerobics and walking.
Visitation is Wednesday, December 12, 2007, from 6:00 p.m. until 10:00 p.m. and Thursday, December 13, 2007, from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with the funeral to follow at St. Lawrence the Martyr Catholic Church. She will be buried in the church cemetery.
Samart-Mothe Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
