Angele Simoneaux Cavalier, 102, a native of Paincourtville, La., and resident of Plaquemines Parish, died Saturday, June 5, 2010.


She is survived by her son, Essie (Marceline) Cavalier; daughter, Deanne (Stephen) LeBlanc; seven grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.


Special thanks to the staff of Comfort Care Hospice of Plaquemines, John, Michael, Kelly T., Kelly G., Robin, Catherine and Nina. Also LHC Home Care, the Rev. Cleo Milano, Deacon Alfred Ricard II, her Eucharist minister Gwen Guillot and close friend, Leslie Boudreaux and care givers, Rene Carroway and Barbara Brown.

Mrs. Cavalier is buried at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Paincourtville.
