Anita Haley, 67, a native of Washington, D.C., and resident of Morgan City, La., died Saturday, July 9, 2011.
Mrs. Haley loved her family and enjoyed family gatherings, reading, watching sports on television and was a big Atlanta Braves fan. She especially enjoyed her visits to Puerto Rico to visit cousins that were more like brothers and sisters. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her sons, Timothy (Paige), Sean (Kimberly) and Kevin Haley; daughters, Dr. Kimberly (David) Thorguson and Dr. Erin (Patrick) Pennison; and eight grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Esther Roncaglione.
The family requests special thanks given to the staff of Maison Jardin, Teche Regional Medical Center, Doctors Dishman, Osburn, Metz III, Prejeant and Birriel.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 12, at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Morgan City with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. (Hargrave)
