April 18, 2012Anita Joyce Stewart Matirne, 77, a native of Peniel, Texas, and resident of Belle Chasse, La., died Monday, April 9, 2012.
She is survived by her sons, Richard Savoy and Michael (Carrie), Scott Matirne and John Matirne; daughters, Bridget Waldron and Laurie Arceneaux; brothers, Harold (Rosemary), Richard (Valerie) and Robert (Susan) Stewart; 10 grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Matirne; parents, Robert Stewart and Iva Plummer; son, Raymond Savoy; and sister, Betty Henderson.
Interment was at St. John the Evangelist Church Cemetery. (Thibodaux)
