Aniya Nicole Aucoin, stillborn, a native and resident of Houma, LA., died at 12:10 a.m. Monday, April 2, 2007.


Visitation will be from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Saturday at Annunziata Catholic Church. Mass will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in the Holy Family Cemetery.

She is survived by her mother, Sandy Aucoin of Houma; her father, Jared Bergeron of Houma; one sister, Khialyn Marie Aucoin of Houma; her grandparents, Jeanette and Roland Aucoin, Annette Bergeron and fiancé, Mike DeRiso; her great-grandparents, Roland Aucoin, Nelward and Richard Southers; one aunt, Becky Duplantis and husband, Troy; three uncles, Eddie Aucoin, and Reggie Aucoin and fiancée, Kayla Burton; one great uncle, Carl Bergeron; her godmother, Brittany Duplantis; her godfather, Scotty Aucoin and wife, Lisa; and seven cousins.

She is preceded in death by her great-grandfather, Eddie J. Boudreaux Sr.; and her great-grandmothers, Marie Victoria Solet Boudreaux and Ruth R. Aucoin.

Chauvin Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
