Deadline nearing for recovery grant program

Ann Martin Conrad, 93, a native of Bourg, LA. and resident of Houma, LA., died at 9:41 a.m. Monday, February 5, 2007.
Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Wednesday at Chauvin Funeral Home and from 8:30 a.m. to funeral time Thursday at St. Francis de Sales Cathedral. Mass will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the church, with burial in St. Ann Cemetery.
She is survived by one sister, Theresa M. Martin of Houma; two nieces, Marie Louise Landry and husband, Russell, and Carolyn Louviere Sobert; one nephew, Michael A. Sobert and wife, Sally, of Thibodaux, LA.; one great-niece, Margaret Sobert of Thibodaux; and six great-nephews, Stuart and wife, Courtney, Todd and wife, Amy, Troy, Rob, Chad and wife, Andrea, and Scott Sobert.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John M. Conrad; her parents, Teles Joseph Martin and Marguerite Aglia Robichaux Martin; one brother, Joseph A. Martin; three sisters, Louise Marie Sobert, Della Martin Moosa and Gladys “Glad” Martin Lindsey; and two nephews, Robert Paul Sobert and Joseph Louis Sobert.
She was a retired department manager of J.C. Penney of New Orleans, LA., and a parishioner of St. Francis de Sales Cathedral.
Chauvin Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
