Anna Lee Billiot, 94, a native of Pointe-aux-Chenes and resident of Texas, died Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010, at The Aboretum Nursing Home in Winnie, Texas.


A homemaker, Mrs. Billiot was Catholic.


She is survived by her daughters, Emelia Billiot, Leona Naquin, Josephine Babin, Mary Herendez and Everlynn Billiot; sons, Billy and Guinald Billiot; sisters, Odelia Billiot, Bridget Matherne and Dolcena Dupre; stepsister, Gladys Russell; brother, Frank Billiot; 36 grandchildren; 78 great-grandchildren; and numerous great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Pierre Billiot; parents, Emelia and Elphage Billiot; daughters, Sarah Duplantis and Rose Foster; sons, Emile and Phillip Billiot; brothers, Paris, Elfare, Alex, Gustave and Orline Billiot; sisters, Agote Dardar, Lena Brunet and Gustine Creppel; and numerous grandchildren, great- and great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Billiot is buried at Crystal Beach Cemetery in Crystal Beach, Texas.

J. Levy & Termini Funeral Home of Galveston was in charge of arrangements.
