Sheriff’s ranges give public a new target
March 11, 2010Anna Lee Billiot, 94, a native of Pointe-aux-Chenes, La., and resident of Texas, died at the Aboretum Nursing Home in Winnie, Texas, on Sunday, Feb. 7, 2010.
Mrs. Billiot’s final blessing was returning to Louisiana to enjoy seafood with family and friends.
She is survived by daughters, Emelia Billiot, Leona Naquin, Josephine Babin, Mary Hernandez and Everlynn Billiot; sons, Billy and Guinald Billiot; sisters, Odelia Verdin, Bridget Matherne and Dolcena Dupre; half-sister, Gladys Russell; brother, Frank Billiot; 36 grandchildren; 78 great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren and great-great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Pierre Billiot; parents, Elphage and Emelia Billiot; daughters, Sarah Duplantis and Rose Foster; sons, Emile and Phillip Billiot; brothers, Parish, Elfare, Alex, Gustave and Orline Billiot; sisters, Agote Dardar, Lena Brunet and Gustine Creppel; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
