Anna May Baney, 80, a resident of Luling, LA. and a native of Houma, LA., died at 7:30 a.m. Sunday, January 14, 2007.

Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m., in which a memorial service will be held, Thursday at the Falgout Funeral Home Chapel.


She is survived by her husband, Samuel Edwin Baney; 3 sons, William Edwin, Douglas Joseph, and Wayne Michael Baney; 2 daughters, Lorraine Clement and Elaine Baney; one sister, Amy Marie Marks, and 14 grandchildren.


She is preceded in death by her parents, Florestall and Nessie Duplantis Champagne; 1 grandson, Evan Baney; 1 brother, Sheldan Champagne, and 3 sisters, Marguerite Dupre, Theresa Chauvin, and Rose Bouquet.

She was a parishoner of St. Bernadette.

She was awarded the Bishop’s Medal in 1990.

Donations in her name can be made to any charity.

Falgout Funeral Home will be in charge of the arrangements.
