Anna Chiasson Oncale, 89, a native and resident of Chackbay, La., died Tuesday, January 22, 2008, at 7:38 p.m.
She is survived by her brothers, Oneil J. Chiasson and Percy J. Chiasson; and sisters, Shirley C. Sausage and Esther C. Falterman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert J. Oncale; her parents, Anatole L. Chiasson and Valerie Ponvelle Chiasson; brother, Orris J. Chiasson; and sisters, Inez C. Percle Rodrigue, Flore C. Percle, Lillian C. Ordoyne, Leonise C. Percle and Bernadette C. Halbach.
Anna was the owner of the local restaurant Oncale Restaurant and Dance Hall in Chackbay for more than 60 years.
Visitation will be 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Friday, January 25, 2008, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Chackbay with mass to follow. She will be buried in the church cemetery.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
