Annie Mae LeBouef LeCompte Dhuet, 81, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Sunday, March 2, 4:10 p.m.


She is survived by her daughter, Beatrice LeCompte Mahalick and husband, Joseph, of Salisbury, N.C.; daughter-in-law, Linda LeCompte of Houma; sisters, Edna Breaux and Betty Marcel of Houma; grandchildren, Patty Authement and husband, Troy, Clay LeCompte and wife, Liz, and Lauralee Wesson and husband, Jon; and four great-grandchildren.


She was preceded in death by her first husband, Alvin “Bill” LeCompte; her second husband, Wilbert Dhuet; her parents, Claymile Joseph LeBouef and Beatrice Edith Boudreaux LeBouef; son, Claymile “C.J.” LeCompte; and sister, Jeanne Naquin.

She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Bernadette Catholic Church.

Visitation will be 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 4, at St. Bernadette Catholic Church followed by mass. She will be buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.

Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
