Sales tax collections keep St. Mary schools in black

September 24, 2010Anthony Elmer Valure, 75, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Mansfield, La., died Tuesday, Sept. 21, 2010.
Mr. Valure was employed by Bell South. He was a parishioner of Annunziata Catholic Church.
He is survived his wife, Ethel Lapeyrouse; sons, Anthony Valure Jr. and Dale (Robin) Lapeyrouse; daughters, Anne (Kenneth) Collins, Janet Lapeyrouse and Patricia (Meco) Carlos; brothers, David, Hugh and Rickey Valure; sister, Kathrine Pellegrin; 21 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 23, at Chauvin Funeral Home and 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 24, at Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Friday at the church with burial at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
