Archibald Mark Hebert

Archibald “Archie” Mark Hebert, 84, a native of Chacahoula, La., and resident of Terrytown, La., died Thursday, Aug. 18, 2011.

Mr. Hebert was a devoted and loving man and will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He especially enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his daughters, Evelyn LeBlanc and Margie Thibodaux; sons, Archie and Steven Hebert; grandchildren, John, Amy, Kristy, Matthew, Kelly, Sandy, Joshua and Michael LeBlanc and Nicki, Dennis, Justin, Jacob and Austin Hebert; and many great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmanual and Aline Hebert; wife, Christine Hebert; son, Bobby Hebert; brothers, Louis, Roy, Bernie, Emmanual and Buddy Hebert; sisters, Bertha Boudreaux, Rita Louviere and Margaret Pitre; companion, Thelma Hebert; sisters, Mary Lajaunie and Pearl Tabor; and brother, Joseph Hebert.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21, at Chauvin Funeral Home and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Monday, Aug. 22, at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Chauvin)
