Law enforcement makes arrest in 15-year-old priest murder case

Arie “T-Cap” LeBouef Sr., 66, a native and resident of Montegut, La., died Saturday, September 15, 2007, at 8:30 a.m.

He is survived by his wife, Lois B. LeBouef; six sons, Cody J. LeBouef and his wife Tiffany, Dale J. “Red” LeBouef and his wife Joyce, James LeBouef, David LeBouef and his wife Theresa, Arie LeBouef Jr., and Brian LeBouef; four stepsons, Darren and his wife Karen, Timothy and his wife Brandi Marcel, Wilsey and his wife Bobbie, and Wade and his wife Danelle Bordelon; one stepdaughter, Yvonne “Tut” M. LeBouef and her husband Mark; five brothers, Edward, Emery, Ernest, Wilfred, and Ellis LeBouef; three sisters, Rena Price, Lorena Boudreaux, and Marie Darcey; 26 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis and Rosina Nelton LeBouef, Sr.; one daughter, Lori Ann LeBouef; one brother, Eray J. LeBouef, Sr.; and one sister, Wilda L. Lirette.

He is buried in Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery in Montegut.
