Thibodaux’s Lady Tigers hungry for district title

Arvel Norman, 73, a native of Marksville, La., and a resident of Chauvin, La., died Monday, February 4, 2008.
He is survived by his wife, Emma Trahan Norman; son, Clay Norman; step-sons, Chris, Andre’ and Ron Martin; daughter, Rosina Manor and husband, Dwayne; brother, Ray Norman; sisters, Peggy Burroughs, Louida Cobb and Glenda Baker; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Norman and Adine Sayer Norman; and brothers, Hannon and Sanford Norman.
A memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 9, 2008, at the Kingdom Hall on Prospect Boulevard.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
