November 10, 2011Aubrey Peter Boudreaux, 85, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Montegut, La., died at 10:58 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 8, 2011.
Mr. Boudreaux was a member of the American Legion for over 50 years where he served as Commander and Chaplain. He was also a member of the VFW and the United Veterans League. He enjoyed his grandchildren and great-grandchildren and loved to make them laugh. He was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
He is survived by his wife, Sherry Boudreaux; son, Douglas Boudreaux; daughters, Gwendolyn Poiencot and Francine (Kim) Boudreaux; brother, Carroll (Johnny) Boudreaux; sister, Yvonne (Willie) Champagne; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sidney and Eva Boudreaux; brothers, Johnny and Antoine Boudreaux; sister, Pearl Boudreaux; and grandchild, Eve Boudreaux.
Visitation will be 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 11, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to follow. Burial will be at the church cemetery. (Chauvin)
