Audrey Chiasson Callais, 74, a native of Lockport, La., and resident of Cut Off, La., died at 1:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 29, 2011.
Mrs. Callais was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a member of Lafourche Volunteer for Family and Community.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Harris Callais; sons, Neil (Toni) and Larry (Mona) Callais; daughters, Nettie (Ricky) Falgout, Mary (Ritchie) Toups, Audrey (Monty) Vegas and Amy (Marty) Plaisance; sisters, Aubradella Blanchard and Gloria Harrison; 16 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Eves and Rita Chiasson; and great-grandchildren, Ana Guidroz and Carson Cheramie.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with mass to follow. Burial will be at St. Mary’s Nativity Catholic Cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
