Audrey F. Chauvin, a native of Gibson, La., and a resident of Morgan City, La., died on Friday, Dec. 4, 2009, at Teche Regional Medical Center.

She is survived by her husband of 68 years, N.A. “Bert” Chauvin; one son, Andre (Greig) Chauvin; daughters, Linda Sue (J. Cameron) Webster and Lori (Curtis) Austin; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and brother, O.J. (Yvonne) Foucheaux.


She was preceded in death by her parents, Octave and Lydia Landry Foucheaux; brothers, Irving, Stanley, Lionel and Daniel Foucheaux; and sister, Louise F. Guidry.

Mrs. Chauvin was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Morgan City.

Visitation will be held Saturday, Dec. 5, from 10 a.m. to noon, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at noon. She will be buried at Morgan City Cemetery.
