Barbara Keatts Buckner, 67, a native of Rock Hill, S.C. died Friday, May 27, 2011
Mrs. Buckner was the co-founder of Buckner Rental Service in Houma, La. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother and sister and will missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her daughters, Pam (Molly Parker) Buckner and Robin (Blaine) Bonvillain; two grandchildren, Hayley and Hilary Bonvillain; mother, Mazell Keatts; sisters, Patricia Owens, Myrtie (Curtis) Wrenn and Rachel (Bill) Durham; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, John Ambrose Keatts; and brother, James Keatts.
The family would like to gratefully acknowledge the care and support of the nurses and staff of Hospice of Alamance-Caswell and the nursing staff and support staff of Twin Lakes for all their compassionate care over the past months.
In lieu of flowers the family request memorials be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Alamance-Caswell, c/o Barbara Buckner, 914 Chapel Hill Road, Burlington, NC 27215.
