Bella Rita Lirette DeRoche, 87, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, Oct. 1, 2011.
Mrs. DeRoche was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law and grandmother. She was loved by all who knew her and will be sadly missed.
She is survived by her sons, Terry Sr. (Glenna), Sammy (Liz), Wilson Jr., Randy (Marian), Jerome Sr. (Janine) and Jeff Sr. (Jenny) DeRoche; sisters, Pearl Duplantis, Grace Zeringue, Ruth and Dorothy Hebert and Shirley and Lillie Allemand; 14 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wilson DeRoche Sr.; son, Daniel Deroche Sr.; parents, Henry and Lillie Lirette; brothers, Herbert, Paul, Ralph and Avery Lirette; and sisters, Sophie Bent and Ella Ford.
Burial was at Garden of Memories Cemetery. (Chauvin)
