Belle Theresa Chauvin Matherne, 75, a native and resident of Chauvin, La., died at 2 a.m. Thursday, November 6.
She is survived by one daughter, Linda LeBlanc and husband Nelson of Houma, La.; two brothers, James Chauvin and Paul Chauvin of Houma; three sisters, Gloria Porche, Molly Boudreaux and Mary Ann Boudreaux of Houma; one grandchild, Neal LeBlanc and wife Ta Chel; and three grandchildren, Chad, Eric and Owen LeBlanc.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Matherne Jr.; and her parents, Connely J. Chauvin and Theresa Champagne Chauvin.
She was a homemaker and a parishioner of St. Bernadette Church.
She was buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
Chauvin Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
