Ben Joseph Hebert, 27, a native and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, September 19.

He is survived by his father and stepmother, Jan Joseph Hebert and Jennifer Hebert; two brothers, Brad Hebert and Dalton Barlow; four sisters, Brandy Hebert, Ashley Smith Dehart, Kristin Cressoine and Mandy Chandler Olivier and husband Joey Olivier; his grandparents, Burna Hebert, Jack and Lucille Womack and Everett and Mailu Sterling; two nephews, Cullen Hebert and Devin Olivier; three nieces, Brooklyne Dehart, Bailey Deroche and Laura Traylor; his uncles, Sammy Womack, J.E. Womack and Kenny Hebert; his aunt, Christine Hebert; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.


He was preceded in death by his mother, Pamela Womack; his grandfather, Leonard Hebert; and his uncle, Ralph Hebert.

He was an anchor hoist operator for Ascot International and was employed in Nigeria, West Africa. He was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Catholic Church.
