Ben Scott Busselle, 73, a native of San Diego, Calif., and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Wednesday, April 23, 2014.
Mr. Busselle was a U.S. Army National Guard veteran and retired from Shell Oil Company after 36 years of service. He also worked part time with the Thibodaux Police Department, Lafourche Parish Sheriff’s office and the Nicholls State University Athletics Department. He was a past member of the Thibodaux Jaycees.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia Busselle; children, Barry and Cheri Busselle; stepson, Dennis White; sisters, Shirley Jones, Anita Dowty and Cheri Lee; five grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one step-great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Ruby Busselle.
Visitation will be 8 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 30, at Thibodaux Funeral Home with services to follow. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux. (Thibodaux)
