Bennie James “B.J.” Stalling, 51, a native of Houma, La., and resident of Pike County, Miss., died Monday, July 5, 2010.


Mr. Stalling served in the U.S. Army.


He is survived by his companion, Charlotte “Buffy” Morgan; daughter, Ruby Stalling; sons, Bennie Jr., Bruce, John, Jessie and Frank Stalling; father, James Stalling; brothers, Larry, James Jr. and Alester Stalling; sisters, Shirley and Mary Stalling; half-sister, Janice M. Sneeze; stepbrother, Wayne Henry; and stepsisters, Trudy Turner and Georgia Miller.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Lee Stalling; one daughter, Cynthia Marie Stalling; his half-brother, Johnnie Leon Brumfield; and his half-sister, Shirley Ann Torregano.

He is buried at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery in Tylertown, Miss.
