Bermingham P. Hebert, a native of Basile, La., and a resident of Amelia, La., died Saturday, Nov. 28, 2009, at Teche Regional Medical Center.


He is survived by his wife, Pearl McDaniel Hebert; daughters, Erina Mae Thomson and Yvonne Morrison; sons, Kenneth Jr. (Cyretha), William, Edwin (Becky) Hebert; sisters, Lolafern Dietz, Lillie (Darryl) Comeaux; 17 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.

Mr. Hebert was a member of St. Andrews Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed French music, dancing, tinkering with things and had a green thumb. He never met a stranger, always had a smile and enjoyed joking around and having fun.

He is buried at St. Andrews cemetery.
