Bernard A. Lacour, 81, a native of New Orleans, La., and resident of Raceland, La., died at 9:53 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, 2011.


Mr. Lacour was a U.S. Navy 1950 Seaman, apprentice and USNEV. He was retired from Western Electric Phone Company after 33 years.

He is survived by his wife, Joyce S. Lacour; mother, Marie Lacour; daughter, Cheryl L. Richardson; one grandson, Justin L. Richardson; brother, Gary (Claire) Lacour; and nephew, Frank (Holly) Lacour.


He was preceded in death by his father, Alvin T. Lacour.

He is buried at Lakelawn Cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
