Bernice Ourso Cassard, 82, a native and resident of Donaldsonville, La., died Friday, Dec. 2, 2011.
Mrs. Cassard was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a devout Catholic and looked forward to her weekly prayer meetings.
She is survived by her daughters, Laurie (Jerry) Werner and Sharon (Nathan) Mitchell; sons, Kevin (Ann), Danny (Nadine) and Dale (Mary) Cassard; sisters, Sadie Holland, Florence Falcon, Joyce Bankston and Dianne and Lauren Ourso; brother, Anthony Ourso Jr.; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldridge Cassard; and parents, Anthony and Laura Ourso.
Entombment was at Ascension of Our Lord Catholic Church Mausoleum in Donaldsonville. (Ourso)
