Bertha Cunningham, 95, a native of Orange Grove and a resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, Jan. 16, 2010 at 1:02 p.m.
She is survived by her daughters, Carolyn (Roger) Bourgeois, Judy Robichaux, Joy (Gus) Broussard and Glenda (Caliste) Callahan; brothers, Earl and Nolan Louviere; sisters, Ethel Lemaster, Bernice Guidry and Yvonne Giroir; 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and 17 great0great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Junius Cunningham; parents, William and Leontine Dufrene Louviere; brothers, Herbert Sr. and Norman Louviere; sister, Lydia Cortez; and infant daughter; and one grandchild.
She was a parishioner of Maria Immacolata Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society.
Visitation will be 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 19, at Falgout Funeral Home’s Chapel with a religious service to follow. Burial will be at St. Francis de Sales II Cemetery.
Falgout Funeral Home in Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
