Bertha Rosa Walker, 87, a resident of Galliano, La., and a native of Golden Meadow, La., died Saturday, January 12, 2008 at 1:45 p.m.
She is survived by three sons, Perry Sr., Preston and Dean Walker; three daughters, Sharon Tatum, Sharol Lee and Irma Walker; one brother, Ebdon Adams; three sisters, Augusta Cheramie, Vida Toups and Veda Singletary; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents Lezzie and Alice Guidry Adams; two brothers, Oliver and Theo Adams; three sisters, Stella Terrebonne, Olivia Purio, and Cherita Dandry.
Bertha was a parishioner of St. Joseph church.
Visitation is from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Monday, January 14, 2008, and 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2008, at Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano. The funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, January 15, 2008, at St. Joseph Church in Galliano. She will be buried in the St. Joseph Church cemetery.
