Neighbors angered over blight

Bessie Falgout Pitre, 97, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and resident of Raceland, La., died at 5:50 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010.
She is survived by 19 nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Pitre; parents, Charles and Agusta Breaux Falgout; brother, Harris “Bud” Falgout Sr.; and three sisters, Alida Alario, Elmire Louviere and Inez Rizan Sako.
She is buried at Holy Savior Catholic Cemetery.
