Betty Lyons Cheramie Creppel, 63, a native of Golden Meadow, La., and a resident of Galliano, La., died Thursday, July 16.
She is survived by two sons, Dennis Creppel Jr. and Howell Creppel; three daughters, Patricia Bonvillian, Leontine Bonvillian and Philomen Schouest; four brothers, Hubert Lyons, Harold Lyons, Lee Lyons and Lylis Lyons Jr.; three half-brothers, Patrick Boudreaux, Alphonse Boudreaux Jr. and Cookie Boudreaux; three sisters, Pearly Lyons, Gertie Hall and Grace Gautreaux; 18 grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and four step-great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Creppel Sr.; parents, Howell and Leontine Lombas Cheramie; father, Lylis Lyons; two brothers, Wilson Lyons and Nolan Dupre; and one grand grandchild.
Visitation will be 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday, July 19, and 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Monday, July 20, at Falgout Funeral Home in Galliano. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the funeral home with burial at Cheramie Cemetery in Galliano.
Falgout Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
