Betty Sosa, 56, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Wednesday, March 26, at 9:45 pm.
She is survived by her children, DeNatha Green and Dillon Sosa both of Thibodaux; sisters, Lucy Green of New Orleans, La., and Bernadine Hills of Thibodaux; and one grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Alice Vallery and Joseph Frye; brother, James Green; sister, Mary Alice Green; and grandmother, Lucy Cooper.
She was a member of Moses Baptist Church. She was a member of Breast Cancer Survivors and a member of the Lions Club. Her hobbies included photography, reading and traveling. She was employed by Easter Seal of Louisiana.
The Repast will be held at St. Luke Community Center in Thibodaux. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday April 2, at Moses Baptist Church in Thibodaux.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
