Betty Sue Rodrigue Prosperie, 63, a native and resident of Pointe-aux-Chenes, La., died at 3:03 p.m. Tuesday, June 24.
She is survived by her husband, Gerald J. Prosperie Sr.; three sons, Gerald J. Prosperie Jr. and wife, Mary, Eric Prosperie and Thomas Prosperie and wife, Liza; six daughters, Vickie P. Authement and husband, Bart, Alice Brunet and husband, Jeremy, Ethel Naquin and husband, Billy, Esther Trosclair and husband, Dale, Stephanie Babin and husband, Dub, and Autumn Prosperie; one brother, Nelton Rodrigue Sr.; one sister, Doris Ledet; 16 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Agnes Dupre Rodrigue; two brothers, Wilbert and Ervin Rodrigue; and three sisters, Rita Mae Chatagnier, Theresa Robichaux and Clothilde Authement.
Visitation will be 9 a.m. to funeral time Friday, June 27, at Samart Funeral Home of Houma, La. A religious service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with burial at Rogers Cemetery.
Samart Funeral Home of Houma is in charge of the arrangements.
