Betty Zeringue Hebert, 82, a resident of Thibodaux, La., died at 9:25 a.m. Sunday, June 1.
She is survived by her son, Larry Hebert and wife, Jeanne; daughter, Debra Swart; grandchildren, Lee Percle and wife, Brandi, Shane Percle, Erin Swart, Jay Swart, Jason Hebert, Lauren Duncan and husband, Johnny IV, Jennifer Hebert and Ryan Hebert and wife, Amy; and great-grandchildren, Landen Percle and Rowen Duncan.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Hebert; her parents, Elmo Zeringue and Annie Adams; and sister, Annie Dugas.
She was the bookkeeper at East Thibodaux Junior High School for 20 years. Following her retirement she volunteered at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center as a pink lady. She was also a member of the Catholic Daughters and the New Comers.
Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. Wednesday, June 4, at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Thibodaux with mass to follow. She will be buried at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Landry’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
