Beulah Edna Sparks Ganaway, a native of Maringouin, La., and Plaquemine, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Friday, Feb. 25, 2011.

Mrs. Ganaway leaves a legacy of unconditional love and kindness shown by no other. Her love of life, smile of joy and honesty will be missed by all who knew her. “Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal.”


She is survived by her son, Larry (Esther) Ganaway; daughters, Brenda (K.P.) Daigle and Annette (Bob) Bing; eight grandchildren, Joe (Angie) Daigle, April (David) Olivier, Tonya Daigle, Jamie (D.J.) Kidd, Kerry (Melanie) Daigle, Matthew (Janice) and Ginger Bing and Dougie (Amanda) Ganaway; 11 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Hubert Sparks; sister, Margie Marinneaux; and many nieces, nephews and other family and dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Ganaway; parents, Jesse Sparks and Lillian Mary LeJeune; one son, Jerry Ganaway; one brother, Albert Sparks; and two sisters, Della Mae and Florence Sparks.

She is buried at Rosedale Cemetery. (Falgout)
