Beulah Ordogne Roger, 86, a native and resident of Thibodaux, La., died Thursday, Jan. 30, 2014.
Mrs. Roger was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who proudly served as the matriarch of her family. She was a devout Catholic and active member of St. Geneviève Catholic Church. She was a great cook, good listener, good friend and she never met a stranger. She was a determined woman with a kind and generous soul.
She is survived by her daughter, Shiela Durocher; sons, Wallace Jr., Robert (Cathy), Barry, Gregory and Gerard (Leah) Roger; sister, Mabel Martinez; nine grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Roger Sr.; parents, Alfred and Nora Ordogne; brothers Lawrence, Lester and Clarence Ordogne; and sisters, Enola Malbrough, Viola Naquin and Lula Benoit.
Burial is at St. Joseph Cemetery. (Thibodaux)
