Billie Marie Anderson Ruskoski, 90, a native and resident of Franklin, La., died at 5:26 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 8, 2011.


Mrs. Ruskoski was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and a devout member of the Church of the Assumption. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters Court Assumption, Ladies Altar Society, as well as a lecturer and Eucharistic minister.


She is survived by her children, Jackie Firmin, Ronnie (Brenda) and Johnny (Wil) Ruskoski, Marsha Kuhlman, Wendy (Ronald) Hebert, Malyn (David) Guidry, Dahleen (John) Mayard, Marguerite (Charlie) Siess, Diane (J.L.) Chauvin, Monica (Mark) Romero, and Andrea (Neal) Landry; brother, William Marguerite (Anderson); sisters, Mae (Paul) Thibeaux and Eloise Dopson; 34 grandchildren; 44 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Ruskoski; son, Ricky Ruskoski; daughter, Janice Picard; parents, William and Mamie Anderson; brother, Sonny Anderson; and granddaughter, Amy Aucoin.

Burial was at Franklin Cemetery. (Ibert’s)
