Billy A. Armand, 71, a native of Cottonport, La., and a resident of Grand Isle, La., died Friday, March 6, at 8 p.m.


He is survived by his wife, Theresa Armand; mother, Cecile P. Armand; sons, Robert Armand and wife Patty, Steven Armand and wife Margaret, Kim Armand, Kenneth Armand and wife Jeanie and Ray Armand; daughters, Cynthia Lanasse and Monique Armand; brothers, Bobby, Earl, Ray and Rodney Armand; sisters, Rosemary Foster, Sadie Norman, Ruth Trahan, JoAnn Armand and Christine Armand; 14 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.


He was preceded in death by his father, Ogden Armand; daughters, Jackie Armand and Anita Armand; and brother, Daniel Armand.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening with his grandson and all his grandchildren.

Visitation will be 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 10, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church in Golden Meadow, La., with mass to follow.

Falgout Funeral Home of Galliano, La., is in charge of the arrangements.
