Jury convicts Houston officer in “Up Da Bayou Boyz” case in federal court

Billy Wayne Paul Charrier, 73, a native of Echo, La., and a resident of Houma, La., died at 4:21 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 4, 2016.
Mr. Charrier loved to tinker with mechanics. He was always in his shop in the back yard. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his spouse, Judith Naquin Charrier; sons, Wayne (Denise), Kenneth John and Farrell Charrier; sister, Patsy Charrier; and seven grandchildren.
Burial is at St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery.
