Gov.’s wife joins effort to build Gray Habitat home

Bobby Charles Cunningham, 74, a native and resident of Houma, La., died at 4:15 a.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2010.


Mr. Cunningham was a parishioner of St. Bernadette Soubirous Catholic Church. He was an officer of the Elks Lodge No. 1193 and a member of the Woodmen of the World. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and visiting his camp.


He is survived by his spouse of 53 years, Madelene LeBoeuf Cunningham of Houma; daughters, Robyn (Robert) Rougeau and Priscilla (Rene) Boudreaux, all of Houma; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives.

He is buried at St. Francis de Sales Cemetery No. 2.
