Jail woes continue in Lafourche Parish with tax on hold – for now

Brenda R. Orgeron, 58, a native of Valentine, La., and resident of Cut Off, La., died at 7:40 p.m. Tuesday, May 10, 2011.
Mrs. Orgeron was a member of Christian Fellowship Church and employed by Wal-Mart for 17 years.
She is survived by her husband, Roland J. Orgeron; daughter, Racheal (Kevin) Bankson; brothers, Thomas (Melissa) and Robert (Alice Ordoyne) Roger; sisters, Shirley (Elton) Davaine, Cheryl (Louis) Guidry, Elaine Loupe and Charlene (Mark) Rodriguez; and two grandchildren, Brittany and Braden Bankson.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Camille Jr. and Earline Thibodaux Roger; stepmother, Eve Roger; and three brothers, Andrew, Gerald and Jimmy Roger.
She was buried at Our Lady of the Rosary Cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
