Brenda Faye Diggs Pinkston, 54, a native of Gibson, La., and resident of Terrebonne Parish, La., died at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, June 24, 2010.
Mrs. Pinkston was a member of St. James Baptist Church. She served in the Senior Choir and was a member of The Red Hats Society and Cleopatra Carnival Crew. She was employed by Gulf Coast Teaching Family Services.
She is survived by her husband, Howard Pinkston; sons, Daniel, Phillip and David Pinkston; sisters, Claudette Tyler, Elaine Washington and Linda Diggs; and her sister-in-law, Carol Sue Verdin.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Wellington and Evelyn Nisby Diggs; one brother, Clarence Lee Diggs; and grandparents, Wilma and Chestnola Diggs and Daniel and Lillian Nisby.
She is buried at St. James Baptist Church Cemetery in Gibson, La.
