Brenda Kerne Weber, 70, a native of Thibodaux, La., and resident of Larose, La., died Monday, May 2, 2011.
Mrs. Weber was a Home Economics teacher and Guidance Counselor at Cut Off High School. She loved dogs, flowers, sewing and especially her granddaughter. She served as the State President of the Louisiana Home Economics Teacher Association. Mrs. Weber loved to travel with her family and enjoyed fishing. She loved her students and teaching family.
She is survived by her husband, Richard Weber; son, Lance (Inger) Weber; granddaughter, Angelle Weber; brothers, Philip III (Alice) and Rodney (Isela) Kerne; and sister, Karen (Brad) Kemp.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Philip Jr. and Ada Kerne.
She is buried at Bigwoods Cemetery. (Samart-Mothe)
