Family Fun Fest has something for all ages

Brian Morris, 16, a native and resident of Raceland, LA., died Tuesday, March 27, 2007.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 31, 2007 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church in Raceland. A religious service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the church. Burial will be in the Morning Star Baptist Church Cemetery in Raceland.
He is survived by his devoted companion, Georgette Smith of Raceland; his parents, Bryant Griffin and Lenora Morris of Raceland; two daughters, Bre’Nija Morris of Hahnville, LA., and Bre’Niya Smith of Raceland; five sisters, Shonnette Morris, Brianna Morris, Taylor Bryant and Shernisha Sylvester of Raceland and Shentell Wilson of Thibodaux; four brothers, Tony Morris, Donald Morris, Ronika Bremnte’ Morris of Raceland, and Bryant Lawson of Lockport, LA.; grandparents, Leanna Griffin of Raceland and Earl Griffin Sr. of Thibodaux; adopted grandparents, Audrey and Charles Moten of Raceland.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard and Mary Morris.
He was Baptist.
Brian attended Central Lafourche High and LA. Vo-Tech College.
Kennedy Funeral Home of Raceland is in charge of the arrangements.
