Bruce Joseph “Lil Chief” Naquin, 89, a native of Terrebonne Parish, La., and resident of Houma, La., died Saturday, June 7, 2014.


Mr. Naquin was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II and an employee of Texaco Oil for more than 35 years. He was a parishioner of St. Louis Church in Bayou Blue, La.

He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Jeannette Naquin; daughter, Elizabeth (Lee) Guidry; sisters, Joy Goodroe, Claire Fanguy, Barbara Mapp and Jane Gautreaux; and two grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Aurestile and Thelma Naquin; brother, Roy Naquin; and sisters, Thelma Blankenship, Judith Naquin and Phyllis Hebert.


Burial is at St. Louis Church Cemetery. (Falgout)
