Buddy Gagneaux, 73, a native Donner, La., and a resident of Schriever, La., died Tuesday, June 23.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Navarre Gagneaux; children, Michael Gagneaux and wife Mary, Susan Gagneaux and companion Rusty Hymel, and Justine Gagneaux Stevens and husband Trey; sister, Peggy Gagneaux Dubois; grandchildren, Amber Gagneaux and companion Nick, Monique Gagneaux Naquin and husband Reed, Raelynn Vilcan and companion Nicholas, and Meghan Stevens; great-grandchildren, Kaden Bourgeois and Carsen Naquin; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Buddy Gagneaux Sr. and Edna Richard Gagneaux; daughter, Angela Marie Gagneaux; and godchild, John Dubois.
He was a member of the National Guard Infantry No. 156D, Woodmen of the World Lodge No. 369, Schriever Volunteer Fire Department Parish of St. Bridget and the Schriever Senior Citizen Center.
Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, June 26, at Thibodaux Funeral Home and 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Saturday, June 27, at St. Bridget Catholic Church in Schriever. Mass will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the church with burial at the church cemetery.
Thibodaux Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
